My ~GLAMOROUS~ Wig

Every bride has to go through a practice round with their hair in order to determine the perfect hairdo for her special day. WELL, my hair stylist, Charity, began the process by first curling and teasing my hair. As shown by the picture to the right, I looked like something off of Hee Haw.



Thank God the finished product looked ten times better!

Couple's Shower --- Games

Well, a shower wouldn't be complete without embarassing games. The girls took me aside and made me answer 15 questions that they had come up with, and then they asked Jay the same set of questions about me to determine how well he knew me.


It was a hoot! He had to answer what my favorite outfit was, my bra size, my toothbrush color (which I didn't even know myself), my dream car, the last book I read, the color of my eyes, and so on.




He had a great time, but as you can see below, he was stumped by one question ... HOW DO YOU SPELL HER NAME? LOL


 

Couple's Shower

Wow! I can't say thank you enough ... Beth, Angie, and Allyson did a bangin' job on our couple's shower. I love you, girls!

My bridesmaids gave Jay and I a couple's shower/BBQ with good food, good company, and awesome gifts. We got gift certificates to Longhorn, Angelo's, Target, and much, much more. All of our friends and family are so wonderful, and we appreciate each and everyone of them.
The theme of the shower was to bring your present in a #10 envelope. Needless to say, all the guests had to be creative about their choice of present. We only have 12 days left until the wedding, and I'm ecstatic about spending the rest of my life with Jay.

Oh, The Joys of Being a Homeowner ;-)

Well, in the past two days, the washing machine has went out along with the kitchen faucet. I told Jay last night that when it rains it pours; it is never one isolated incident that depletes our cash account. Anyways, they will both be fixed by this weekend thanks to the appliance handyman and my new best buddy, Bert! On a positive note, we have a couple's shower to attend this weekend, and I'm sooooo looking forward to it. Our friends have been great about showing us how much they love and appreciate us. We love you!
